Learn to Ride snowboard programs are becoming very popular these days and many resorts in New England are offering women’s snowboard clinics. Sorry, no boys allowed…
Women-specific snowboard programs are designed to make women feel more comfortable while learning and progressing in their riding. These clinics provide a supportive and judgement-free environment. The clinics are mostly taught by female instructors who are more apt to understand how we learn and what our concerns are when we are killing it on the hill. These programs provide a great opportunity for women to join other, like-minded women in enjoying the outdoors and getting their shred on!
Here is some information on a few programs in the New England area for the 2012-2013 season. We always recommend that you contact the resort directly with any specific questions, and if you are heading to a resort not listed here, check out their website or give them a call to see if they have any special women’s snowboard clinics.
